Vincent Ferrini was born in 1933 in Brockton, Massachusetts to a baker’s family and graduated from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston with a BFA in 1955, then Tufts University and in 1956 received a BS in teacher education. Finally he enrolled in RIT’s School for American Craftsmen leaving the teaching arena for good. Ferrini’s life work was well documented in a 30-year retrospective at the Brockton Art Museum.
