PIECES BY TIFFANY
Tiffany & Co. (colloquially known as Tiffany’s) is a French-owned American luxury jewelry and specialty retailer. The company was founded in 1837 by Charles Lewis Tiffany and John B. Young. The store initially sold a wide variety of stationery items. Located on Broadway, the store quickly established itself as the go-to emporium for fashionable ladies in search of jewels and timepieces with a clean American style that represented a distinct departure from the opulence associated with the Victorian era. The first Tiffany mail order catalog, known as the “Blue Book”, was published in 1845 in the United States.
Throughout the history of Tiffany, the brand has worked with visionary jewelry designers, including Elsa Peretti, Paloma Picasso, and Jean Schlumberger, who is renowned for his layered enamel.
